Introduction
One issue users have had is that an encrypted PDF does not Open or Upload correctly. Depending on the computer system, three methods are outlined below.
Decrypting a PDF for PC
- Open PDF in Adobe, or your web browser.
- File, then Print to “Microsoft XPS Document Writer”.
- Open the newly printed XPS file.
- File, then Print to PDF while in the XPS viewer.
- Save the document as a PDF with "[repaired]" added to the end of the file name, and Upload to DocJuris.
Decrypting a PDF for Mac
Using Standard Method
- Click on the Document to download it.
- Open the document from "Downloads".
- If the formatting is irregular, right click the document.
- Save the document as a PDF with "[repaired]" added at the end of the file name, and upload to DocJuris.
Decrypting a PDF for Mac with Finder
Using "Open with" Method
- Right Click on Document to download it.
- Open the document from "Open with finder".
- Export the document as PDF.
- Save the document as a PDF with "[repaired]" added at the end of the file name, and upload to DocJuris.
