How to Generate Markups from Precedent
- To generate markups, open the precedent tab, and search for the precedent you wish to apply similar markups from.
Using the right-click menu and show precedent button to the side of every section will show the most similar results to that clause, cutting some of the work down from searching for keywords.
- Once a precedent you wish to use has been found, in the top right corner, select the Generate Markups ✨ icon and you will then be prompted to select a section within the editor to apply the markups to.
- Your markups will be applied as closely as possible to align your contract with the chosen precedent.
- Review, adjust, and apply any additional markups as needed.
